Job Title: Manual Horizontal Borer Operator

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £21.71 per hour

My client based in Aberdeen are looking for a Manual Horizontal Borer Operator

The Manual Horizontal Borer Operator will be required to carry out all aspects of machining work required on new products and client supplied equipment utilising machines, as detailed in route sheet instructions.

Manual Horizontal Borer Operator Responsibilities

Machine Manufacture of products to controlled drawings and route sheet instructions
Machine preparation of valves and equipment for welding
Machine finishing of valves and equipment after welding and PWHT
Maintaining traceability at all stages of production
Maintenance of machines being operated
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in all areas. Specifically, area of machine being operated.
In process inspections as required on any item being manufactured or re-worked.
Carry out daily maintenance routines on machines
Carry out any additional tasks within capabilities as directed by the workshop supervisor or management

Manual Horizontal Borer Operator Requirements

Experience required within machining.
Experience in operation of manual horizontal borer is preferred.
Based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.

Manual Horizontal Borer Operator Salary & Benefits

£21.71 per hour, depending on experience; overtime is payable at x1.5, x2 on Sundays (40 hour week)
Full-time position - Day shift 8am to 4:30pm with half hour lunch break.
8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday.
Holiday package - 30 days (inclusive of 10 public holidays).
