MANUAL LATHE

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating manual lathes to produce precision parts for various mechanical applications.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual lathes to fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met

Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of materials handling techniques
- Ability to work with logic controllers and tooling systems
