MANUAL LATHE & MILLING MACHINIST
Location: Hixon, Staffordshire
Salary: £17.50per hour +overtime
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 / Friday 07:00 – 13:00
Contract: Permanent position
Teleios Recruitment is recruiting for an established engineering business in Hixon who are looking for an experienced Manual Lathe & Milling Machinist to join their team.
The ideal person will have strong practical experience operating manual lathes and milling machines, along with experience of Press Brake and Laser machinery.
You will ideally have experience in:
* Manual Lathe operation
* Manual Milling
* Press Brake
* Laser machinery
* Working from drawings and job specifications
* General engineering and fabrication work
Additionally, you will ideally have experience in:
* FLT
* Welding
* Pillar Drill
* Band Saw / Mitre Saw
Press Brake and Laser training can be provided for the right person, but previous experience with either or both would be highly desirable.
We are looking for someone with a few years' practical engineering experience who is confident working independently and can operate manual machinery without extensive training.
You will need to be local to the Hixon area and be looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing engineering business.
