Job Description

MANUAL TESTER – SC CLEARED – OUTSIDE IR35 – 6 MTH - £400pd

Loriens Public Sector client is looking for an experienced Manual Tester with SC Clearance for an initial 6 month contract.

The successful candidate will have experience of testing Java based web services and microservices (automated and manual) using a variety of tooling, who is passionate about working in agile environments, using continuous delivery techniques and experienced in building out automated tests to support CI/CD pipelines. Ideally, you will have a strong background in manual testing and some experience or knowledge of automation testing and best practices.

Technology knowledge - good experience of (last 2 years):
Proficient around Linux based environments
AWS environment experience
Mariadb/Mysql experience
Agile testing principles
Bug reporting
Defect tracking
Demonstrable experience in Java, Selenium and Cucumber test creations (create tests in feature files)
