NPI Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

Manage allocated projects through a structured, gated process from the concept/quotation stage, right to production-handover + 90 days
To support the Technical and NPI team in all aspects of the Engineering function regarding new product / design change introduction including cost tracking
To assist manufacturing through optimising processes and work layouts etc. to ensure capacity is available, existing plant use is maximised, and material movement is minimised using simulations.
Actively implement, manage, and analyse continuous improvement activities using lean principles and tools such as PFMEA, Process Flow, Value Stream Mapping and standard operations
Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.

NPI Manufacturing Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Ideally degree qualified, although other qualifications and relevant experience, particularly with an Automotive Tier 1 are also acceptable
At least 2 years relevant experience within a Manufacturing engineering environment
Experience of Lean, Kaizen and structured problem-solving tools
