We're recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an innovative and growing manufacturer where you'll play a key role in developing new materials, products and manufacturing processes.
Working closely with technical and production teams, you'll bridge the gap between R&D and manufacturing, ensuring new products are successfully introduced into production efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing:
Developing new products and materials from concept through to full production. Designing, testing and refining manufacturing processes. Producing production methods, work instructions and technical documentation. Supporting prototyping, trials and product validation. Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and product performance. Working alongside production, quality and commercial teams to ensure successful product launches.
What we're looking for:
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Product Development or Materials Science. Comfortable working with prototypes, product trials and process development. A practical, hands-on approach combined with strong analytical skills. Experience introducing new products into manufacture would be highly advantageous. An interest in sustainable materials or manufacturing would be a real bonus. Experience within the construction products or building materials sector would be beneficial, although not essential.
