Manufacturing Engineer

iO Associates are proud to partner with a well-established Medical Device Manufacturer who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Livingston.

As the Manufacturing Engineer, your main focus will be optimising production processes, enhancing efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities :
Offering technical support by providing effective in-line engineering and technical support to the production team.
Generate and deliver concept ideas and design improvements within Manufacturing and operations, based on NPD pipeline.
Opportunity to lead pilot builds and production validation reports.
Analyse performance data to identify areas for enhancement
Opportunity to drive process, equipment and infrastructure improvement.
You will need:
Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar
2+ years experience working within a Manufacturing Engineer position or similar
Experience working in a fast-moving environment
Strong knowledge of 3D CAD in Solid Works
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full understanding of relevant engineering/quality standards (such as ISO 13485)
