Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional - Initial12 month contract

Salary: £49.50 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Derby

As a Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional you will be doing:

• Day to day technical support, covering the following processes: Computer Tomography, CMM, Ultrasonic, Comparator Gauges and Caliper Gauges.
• Measurement System Analysis studies (Gauge R&R) to validate changes to the measurement system
• Lead improvement activities in the dimensional cell to aid cost savings, cell capacity increase, quicker data access, improved data integrity

Experience and skillset - Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional

• Previous experience in a manufacturing engineering and / or process engineering
• Analytical and problem-solving knowledge (six-sigma / lean techniques)
• Comfortable presenting data at all levels
• Previous experience in Measurement Systems or an interest in developing professionally in that area.
