Press Tool Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
Permanent
Up to £47,000 (depending on experience)
Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm

Are you a Press Tool Design Engineer, looking to take the next step in your career by joining a leading precision manufacturing and engineering company? Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and is looking for a confident and passionate Press Tool Design Engineer with strong experience of designing and developing press tooling.

Press Tool Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

Design and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes
Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing
Ensure that all necessary tooling which is required to support a safe, robust and efficient manufacturing process is designed, manufactured and available
Preparation of documentation for new manufacturing processes or amendments to engineering procedures

Press Tool Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience designing/developing press tooling
Fabrications/Press Tool Design knowledge
Exposure to Pressing, Metal fabrications (Sheet Metal Work), Welding and/or Multi Axis Laser
Experience of using SolidWorks

Press Tool Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
