We're looking for a Manufacturing Finishing Technician to join a growing and innovative engineering business based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, automotive, foundry, machining, assembly, or production backgrounds who enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a supportive and skilled team.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Finishing Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring components meet customer specifications and quality standards before they are dispatched.

Working as part of the production team, you will carry out a variety of finishing and post-production processes using hand and power tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

Grinding, deburring, fettling, sanding, polishing and finishing components
Removing excess material and surface imperfections
Operating hand tools and pneumatic equipment safely and effectively
Using grinders, die grinders, sanders and burr tools
Carrying out visual quality inspections
Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications where required
Identifying and reporting quality issues
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Supporting production targets while maintaining excellent quality standards
Following all Health & Safety and PPE requirements

General production or assembly workYou will ideally have:

Experience using hand tools, power tools, or pneumatic tools
Good practical and mechanical skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
A commitment to safe working practices
