Manufacturing Manager

Manufacturing Manager required for my client who work within the electronics engineering industry, based near to and around the West Sussex area.

The successful Manufacturing Manager will be in charge of the whole manufacturing procedures within the company, being in charge of the production and procurement schedules on a day-to-day basis.

Manufacturing Manager Job Overview
* Manage manufacturing - procurement, production schedules and workflows.
* Supervise assembly operations and inventory management.
* Oversee despatch and invoicing.
* Maintain good customer service.
* Produce reports for the Managing Director and the Board.
* Limited travel necessary for occasional visits to customers or suppliers.

Manufacturing Manager Job Requirements
* Proven experience in an operations management position.
* Preferred backgrounds include; electronics manufacturing and / or related fields.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.
* Ability to travel when needed for the company.
* Based within a commutable distance of West Sussex.
* Full UK driving licence.

Manufacturing Manager Salary & Benefits
* Salary - £45,000 to £60,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
* There may be some flexibility for very suitable candidates, so if salary expectations are higher but you are interested, please call and enquire.
* Full time position - Monday to Friday. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:15am to 5pm and Friday 08:15am to 1pm. 30 minutes for lunch.
* Holiday package starts at 20 days + bank holidays but increases to 25 days + bank holidays after 3 years of service.
* Some holiday allowance is partly allocated for shutdown periods - this is not more than 10 days.
* Company pension scheme with Standard Life. Death in Service insurance policy.
