My client is an established and growing food manufacturing business supplying products into the UK market. Following sustained growth, the business is investing significantly in its operations, including new production equipment, expanded warehousing capacity and upgraded employee facilities.
The site is entering an exciting phase of development and is looking to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of a Manufacturing Manager who can help drive performance, improve processes and support the next stage of growth.
With a strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement and customer service, the business is seeking a leader who can challenge existing ways of working, build capability within the team and help create a more structured, high-performing manufacturing environment.

Description
Responsibilities:
Leading and developing Production Managers and manufacturing teams. Driving operational performance through meaningful KPIs and accountability. Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and output. Embedding Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Creating clearer processes, responsibilities and ways of working. Supporting business improvement and investment projects. Building a culture focused on performance, engagement and operational excellence. Acting as a key member of the site leadership team and deputy to the General Manager when required.
Profile

Proven leadership experience within food manufacturing. A track record of improving operational performance and manufacturing processes. Strong people leadership and coaching skills. Experience implementing Lean and continuous improvement activities. The confidence to challenge constructively and influence change. The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. Experience developing managers, improving accountability and driving cultural change.
