Manufacturing / Process Engineer – Corby At our Corby site, we manufacture advanced ceramic cores used by leading aerospace and turbine manufacturers. It's a highly technical environment where continuous improvement, problem-solving and engineering excellence are critical to success. We're looking for a Manufacturing / Process Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, solve production challenges and support the successful introduction of new products. This is a hands-on role combining shop floor problem-solving, process improvement, data analysis and project work. You'll work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste and ensure processes are robust and capable. What You'll Be Doing * Driving manufacturing and process improvement activities. * Investigating production issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. * Monitoring yields, efficiencies and process performance. * Supporting the introduction of new products into production. * Planning and coordinating manufacturing trials. * Managing engineering changes across the business. * Supporting CMM analysis, Gauge R&R studies and FAIR submissions. * Creating and maintaining product data, routings and standards documentation. * Using ERP systems (D365, IFS or similar) to manage product and manufacturing information. * Producing clear updates and reports for stakeholders. What You'll Bring * Experience in a Manufacturing, Process, Production or Mechanical Engineering role. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * A practical, hands-on engineering approach. * Experience working in a manufacturing environment. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Experience using ERP/MRP systems. * A continuous improvement mindset. Desirable * Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience. * NPI or product development experience. * Project management experience. * Injection moulding or advanced manufacturing experience. * Minitab experience.
