Manufacturing Production Supervisor

We are a well-established manufacturing company based in Hatfield, supplying high-quality products. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee daily operations on the production floor.

Role Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and leading production teams to meet daily targets while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production staff across multiple lines

• Monitor workflow, productivity, and adherence to production schedules

• Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards

• Provide training and support to team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement

• Identify and resolve production issues promptly

• Complete shift reports, maintain accurate production records

• Promote and enforce health and safety policies on the shop floor

• Liaise with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure smooth operations

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and H&S standards

• Competent in using production or ERP systems and basic Microsoft Office software

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• NVQ/Level 3 qualification in Manufacturing or similar (desirable)
