A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers and the wider supply chain to drive continual improvement, investigate non-conformances and monitor key performance indicators across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused Quality or Manufacturing Engineer looking to play an important role within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Compile and review FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports), including the use of Net-Inspect.
* Carry out containment activities where required.
* Raise, review and submit PPAPs in line with individual customer requirements.
* Conduct internal and external audits, as well as supporting and hosting customer and third-party audits.
* Control and maintain required standards, data cards and manufacturing sequences.
* Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Investigate non-conformances and support continual improvement across the business.
* Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure quality requirements are met.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
* Well organised, proactive and highly detail-oriented.
* Customer focused, with a strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer satisfaction.
* A confident communicator who can work effectively with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
* IT proficient, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas.
* Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, or higher.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
You should have a good understanding of:
* APQP
* PPAP
* PFMEA
* Control Plans
* MSA
* RCCA, including 8D, 3C and PIR
* FAIRs
* AS9100
* Microsoft Office / Microsoft software
* Internal auditing
You will also need to be confident dealing with customers at all levels and comfortable working across different areas of the business.
