Manufacturing Shift Team Manager

Responsibilities :
Manages a team of production employees and activities in assigned area to assure timely production in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Develops and implements manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocates labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
Plans and manages production line maintenance and downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and employees in producing quality products.
Evaluates and manages employees in assigned area; manages the labor pool and labor expenses within assigned areas.
Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies, procedures and programs.
Prepares documentation, reports and standard operating procedures as required.
Provides support and prioritization for process improvements.
Ensures budgets, schedules and performance requirements are met.

Qualifications :
Substantial manufacturing experience.
Proven managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in related field, or equivalent vocational or technical education is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical and GMP manufacturing is preferred.
