Your future role


 


As a Manufacturing staff team leader, you will deliver best practice within key areas, support the team, promote and provide support to achieving a continuous improvement culture.


 


We’ll look to you for:


 



  • Promote, coach and support H&S within the team, hazard plans, risk assessments, safety walks, accident/incident investigations, housekeeping (5S) and ensuring correct PPE is worn and available at all times.

  • Ensure control plan is understood and followed, take the lead in practical problem solving (PPS), measure and record non-conforming costs (NCC) and any deviations in quality.

  • Ensure correct TAKT* is followed, process track any disturbances through ANDON (system), bottleneck process understood and resourced, ensure system for materials availability is adhered too.

  • Track costs of consumables through SQDC**, ensure awareness of energy consumption, waste routes are observed and managed and requests overtime/annualised hour’s coverage.

  • Manage and maintain discipline/attendance, conduct investigations up to final warning stage, communicate regular and hold team briefs, discuss monthly performance, appraisals, and objectives, identify training needs and develop team to enhance flexibility.

  • Promote team ethic in kaizen, key member in any kaizen events within their area and lead by example in identifying improvements.
