Manufacturing Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to join a busy and fast paced manufacturing facility based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met.
Working closely with the manufacturing team and wider business, you will drive efficiency, support team development and promote continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, support and motivate the manufacturing team to achieve daily production targets.
* Allocate work, manage priorities and use resources effectively.
* Ensure products meet required specifications, quality standards and deadlines.
* Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, specifications and work orders.
* Monitor production performance against agreed KPIs and targets.
* Identify, record and report errors, defects and quality concerns.
* Inspect and sign off completed work in line with quality procedures.
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions.
* Ensure company procedures, quality standards and health and safety requirements are followed.
* Promote Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Support the training, development and performance of team members.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, management and other departments.
* Lead by example, maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and accountability.
Ideal Skills & Experience
Knowledge
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
* Good knowledge of health and safety requirements and company procedures.
* Understanding of production KPIs and key business drivers.
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S.
* Understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
* Ability to identify and resolve production issues.

Salary: £30K - £35K
Hours: 6.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday
