Job Title: Manufacturing Support Coordinator Location: Materials Solutions – Worcester, UK
Contract Length: 6 month (rolling contract)
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Support Coordinator on behalf of Siemens Energy. This role is essential for maintaining seamless operational flow, schedule adherence, and accurate system alignment across live manufacturing and inspection queues.
Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Support Coordinator will support the real-time review, data correction, and physical movement of live Production Orders and Work in Progress (WIP) within a high-precision additive manufacturing environment. You will act as the crucial link between shop-floor activity and digital planning, ensuring SAP records, physical stock locations, and quality inspection queues remain 100% aligned to support daily production targets.
Responsibilities

SAP Data Alignment: Review live SAP Production Orders against defined operational processes, systematically identifying, recording, and correcting data discrepancies accurately and promptly.

WIP Flow & Coordination: Coordinate the physical movement of reviewed Work in Progress (WIP) into designated manufacturing and inspection queues to prevent bottlenecks and ensure continuous flow.

Queue Visibility & Prioritization: Maintain an up-to-date tracking schedule and clear physical/digital visibility of quality-assessed WIP to support Inspection department priorities.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Manufacturing, Inspection, and Engineering teams to resolve basic data or routing issues, actively escalating blockers when necessary.

Safety & Manual Handling: Execute routine manual handling activities safely in strict accordance with site health, safety, and operational standards.
About You
*
Experience: Previous background working within a manufacturing, production support, inspection, quality, or operations environment.
*
Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience using SAP (or a similar ERP/production management system) to review production orders, track WIP, or manage operational schedules.
*
Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a strong process-driven mindset and high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
*
Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate across production, engineering, and quality teams.
*
Physical Capability: Able to undertake routine manual handling and physical WIP movement in line with site safety procedures.

Compliance Ready: Willingness to undergo standard site compliance checks, including a 5-year work history check and a basic Drug & Alcohol (D&A) screening Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
