Fusion People are delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Systems Engineer on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment with a strong and growing presence in Northern Ireland.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit Production Control team where your work has a direct impact on safety, quality and delivery across the site.

The role

Maintain and improve production control systems and processes
Keep BOMs, routings and inventory data accurate
Support ERP/MRP performance and troubleshoot issues
Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as Kanban and 5S
Analyse production data to spot improvements and support material flow
Work with Production, Engineering and Quality on root cause analysis and engineering changes
Provide day-to-day support to the production teamWhat you'll bring

A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or similar, OR 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above)
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar
Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting
A proactive, organised approach and good communication skillsWhat's on offer
