If you\u0027re looking for a dynamic environment, world-class engineering, and the opportunity to shape the future of aerospace, South Molton is the place to be!\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe position is responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable product to meet customer expectations within a defined production area. The leader monitors and manages hourly and salaried resources in the assignment of work responsibilities, development, and alignment of resources to load. The position drives continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).\n\nEssential Functions: \n\u2022 Champion a culture change through the framework of High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs). \n\u2022 Drive continuous improvement and application through the use of EBS, BOS, CIF, and HPWTs. \n\u2022 Champion implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities of key processes. \n\u2022 Achieve key BOS metrics including TRCR, Productive Utilization, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield and DPPM. \n\u2022 Effective management of plant assets through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources. \n\u2022 Champion implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures. \n\u2022 Train and develop team members as well as providing oversight and coaching to other team members. \n\u2022 Provide the vision and strategy \n\u2022 Lead by example \u2013 be a positive role model \n\u2022 Actively engage and recognize employees \n\u2022 Enable success of employees (providing resources and removing barriers) \n\u2022 Empower employees \u2013 drive decision making down through organization \n\u2022 Responsible for High-5 metrics for assigned value stream. \n\u2022 Employee Engagement \n \n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent required \n\u2022 Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Operations \n\u2022 Minimum 1-3 years of experience leading others \n\u2022 Proficient in reading and writing English\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Technical Knowledge and Skills Required: Computer Skills: Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint \n\u2022 Additional Knowledge and Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong leadership, coaching and influence management skills; ability to balance multiple priorities \n\u2022 Lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence skills in 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, process focused \n\u2022 Internal candidates: Eaton Leadership Competency ratings of at least a \u201c3\u201d, with a preference of \u201c4\u201d ratings in BOC and Leadership Style \n\u2022 Problem solving skills (e.g. 8-D or A3) \n\u2022 Intrinsically motivated, champion of change, visionary \n\u2022 Life-long learner; promotes a learning culture\n\n## What We Offer \n\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\n\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n\nWe make your aspirations matter \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\n\nWe make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term \u2013 not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University.\n\nWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people\u2019s lives and the environment through power management technologies.\n\nWe make your wellbeing matter \u2013 We put your health and safety first.
