Are you an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Manager or Operations Manager looking for your next challenge within a world class aerospace manufacturing environment?

Our client are recruiting for a Manufacturing Team Manager to join their South Molton facility, leading a high performing manufacturing team responsible for delivering precision engineered aerospace components to globally recognised customers.

As Manufacturing Team Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a dedicated production area, ensuring customer demand is met safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for improving productivity, developing your people and embedding Lean Manufacturing principles across your area.

Responsibilities as an Manufacturing Team Manager in South Molton.

* Lead and develop a high performing manufacturing team.

* Ensure production targets, quality standards and customer delivery requirements are achieved.

* Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across your value stream.

* Champion a positive culture focused on safety, quality and employee engagement.

* Monitor and improve KPIs including On Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, productivity and safety.

* Improve operational performance through waste reduction and process optimisation.

* Support strategic business objectives while delivering operational excellence.

Requirements as an Manufacturing Team Manager in South Molton.

* Previous experience managing manufacturing or production teams.

* Experience within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence.
