Role: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Worthing BN14
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–17:00 and Friday, 08:00–13:00
Salary: £27,000-£29,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity to join a growing electronics business as a Manufacturing Technician. This hands-on role involves wiring, cable assembly, soldering, crimping, box-build, and electro-mechanical assembly. Suitable for experienced technicians or candidates with practical assembly skills looking to develop further.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble wiring looms, cable harnesses, connectors, panels, and electro-mechanical products.

* Carry out cable preparation, crimping, soldering, termination, and box-build assembly.

* Follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.

* Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.

* Complete production documentation and maintain traceability.

* Adhere to quality, ESD, and health & safety procedures.

* Work collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines.

About You

* Experience in wiring, cable assembly, soldering, crimping, box-build, or similar assembly work is desirable.

* Candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

* Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions is beneficial.

* Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and quality focus.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Basic computer skills and a reliable, organised approach.

* Knowledge of IPC standards is advantageous but not essential.
