Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Manufacturing/Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve general manufacturing and warehouse work, this role would be suitable for the right candidate who wants consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Manufacturing/Warehouse Operative:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Full driving licence is essential
• Be comfortable operating heavy machinery
• Be able to complete manual handling work as heavy lifting is required

Details:

• Salary: £13ph
• Working hours: Rotating shifts covering Morning and Afternoon - Monday to Friday (05.00 - 13.30) / Monday to Friday (12.30 - 21.00)
• Location: Reading
• Duration: Temp to perm - £28,000 salary at end of placement

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• Complete picking orders for deliveries
• Operating saws and handle steel
• Operating Forklifts and Cranes (Full training will be given)
• Working effectively as part of a team and on your own
• Be able to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
• Follow all health and safety procedures
