Marine Electrician

We are currently recruiting experienced Marine Electricians to join a busy new build vessel programme, based in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

The project involves the fit-out of a high spec pilot boats. Construction is complete, and the vessels have now entered the final fit-out stage.

Duties

Installation of marine electrical systems and equipment
Cable pulling, routing and termination
Installation of lighting, control panels and switchboards
Testing and fault-finding electrical systems
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Supporting commissioning and completion activities

Requirements

Ability to work from electrical drawings and specifications
Experience on vessel new-build, refit, defence or commercial marine projects
Relevant electrical qualifications
Strong focus on quality and safe working practices

£25/h
One rate all hours
Monday to Saturday working available
10-12 hour days available
