About the Role
We are looking to recruit a number of flexible Casual Market Operatives to support the Markets and Fairs service across Nottingham. These roles provide essential operational cover for annual leave, sickness absence, vacancies, events and periods of increased demand.
Working across a range of market sites and street trading locations, you will assist with the set-up, operation and breakdown of markets and events, ensuring sites are safe, clean and welcoming for traders, visitors and customers. Duties may include erecting and dismantling market stalls, moving equipment, assisting traders, carrying out site inspections, maintaining cleanliness standards and undertaking general market operational duties.
This is a casual, as-required position with no guaranteed hours. Flexibility is essential, as shifts will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with service requirements.
