Marketing Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 pro rata (depending on experience/qualifications)
Our client is looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant on a part time basis for approximately 20-25 hours per week. The pattern of working hours is flexible to suit (Monday Friday). This role may suit an experienced Marketing Assistant or an individual with a marketing related qualification, looking to kickstart a career in a marketing environment.
Duties include:
Compiling marketing material including brochures and digital marketing campaigns.
Mailshot management.
Managing social media platforms, scheduling and posting updates.
Responding to online comments and messages.
Creating and delivering trade presentations.
Attending trade specific events and conferences.
Analysing marketing campaigns and amending accordingly.
Liaising with external agencies and contacts.
Compiling marketing programmes, working with design contacts.
Writing and editing general business communication and correspondence.
Updating and maintain client mailing lists in line with GDPR.
Liaising with the Sales team to co-ordinate marketing activities.
Marketing administration.
Person Specification:
Previous marketing experience/qualification.
Digital marketing experience preferred.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain relationships with a range of internal and external contacts.
Appreciation of data regulations including GDPR.
