Marketing Communication Specialist (Entry Level)

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00

Pay: £13.20 per hour (weekly pay through Manpower Scotland)

Contract Length: 1 year (12 months)

This role is an excellent opportunity for an energetic Marketing Communication Specialist to support a busy regional MarCom team. You will help shape campaigns, develop creative assets, and coordinate events while gaining hands?on experience in a fast?moving environment. Ideal for someone looking to grow their marketing skillset in a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating brochures, flyers, emails, landing pages, and other communication materials.
Support planning and project management for internal and external events.
Track email performance and recommend improvements.
Update interactive tools (iPad/IT systems), booth designs, literature, and shipping materials.
Create and schedule social media posts.
Track inventory and organise logistics.
Upload and maintain accurate data records.

Requirements

Ideally has experience using Adobe design tools and a creative background.
Marketing degree would be beneficial.
Basic understanding of biology or willingness to learn.
Some previous marketing experience is an advantage.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong command of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with HTML, web tools, and design software (InDesign, Adobe Suite, etc.).
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Able to work autonomously.
