Marketing Content & Social Media Executive

Location: Bolton Support Centre (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Contract: Full-Time

The Original Factory Shop has been a mainstay on UK high streets for over 50 years, offering big brands at bargain prices to local communities. We're now looking for a creative and driven Marketing Content & Social Media Executive to join our Digital & Ecommerce team at our Bolton Support Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in shaping our social media presence, customer communications, and content strategy - all while helping to drive customer engagement, footfall, traffic, and sales across our stores and online.

Social Media

• Create and manage content across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

• Plan, shoot, edit, and publish Reels, Stories, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes content

• Manage influencer campaigns and content creator sampling

• Support TikTok Shop including product uploads and campaign execution

• Run paid ad campaigns across Meta and TikTok to drive ROI

• Monitor and react to social trends with fresh, engaging content

• Report on social performance using Sprout Social, TikTok Seller Center, and Meta tools

• Coordinate store social activity with internal teams and regional managers

• Educate stakeholders on social media best practices

Email & CRM

• Build and deploy email campaigns via Klaviyo

• Execute lifecycle campaigns to support retention and loyalty

• Grow email subscriber lists and ensure a strong contact strategy

• Conduct A/B testing to optimise performance metrics

Copywriting

• Write compelling copy for emails, social posts, product listings, and web banners

• Maintain the blog, writing engaging posts aligned with campaigns and seasonal content

Essential:

• Proven experience managing TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram content

• Skilled in short-form video creation and editing

• Strong copywriting ability and content planning experience

• Comfortable with social scheduling/reporting tools and CMS platforms

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Confident working independently and as part of a team

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities

• Creative thinker with a passion for content and storytelling

Desirable:

• Experience with TikTok Shop and paid social ad management

• Email marketing and CRM experience

• Retail industry or fast-paced environment background

• Familiarity with Sprout Social

• Confident communicator and stakeholder manager
