Marketing Coordinator

Location: Gateshead (Team Valley)
Salary: Up to £27,500 + Annual Bonus
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (flexible working between 7am–7pm)

We’re working in partnership with a well-established national brand to recruit a Marketing Coordinator for their head office based in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven individual to join a dynamic marketing team and play a key role in delivering engaging campaigns across multiple channels.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll support the delivery of marketing activity for a leading UK-wide retail brand with over 40 locations. This is a varied and hands-on role that includes:

• Coordinating monthly promotions and events
• Supporting salon refurbishments and new launches
• Activating multi-channel campaigns (print, digital, social, in-store audio, and more)
• Assisting with national strategy campaigns
• Managing internal communications and supporting other business areas such as catering outlets
• Handling marketing admin, stakeholder queries, and supplier coordination

Key qualities and experience:

• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
• Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
• Confident communicator with a professional manner
• Good IT skills (especially MS Office)
• Experience with email marketing, social media, and print is a plus
• 1+ year in a B2C marketing role (agency or in-house)
• Degree in Marketing or Business is desirable but not essential
