£75,0000 - £95,000 DOE + bonus + benefits

Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an Marketing Director to work with a financial services company based in Leicester. This role is for a growing business in the financial service sector, providing independent advice to an increasing portfolio of private customers. The Marketing Director role is for an ambitious and commercial marketing professional with a proven history of developing both a business and an amazing marketing team.

As the Marketing Director, you will take full responsibility for developing and delivering a marketing strategy aligned with the businesses overall ambitious growth plans. The key here is to scale activity and engagement across all marketing channels, increasing marketing qualified leads and enhancing the client experience. You will be as comfortable with hands on campaign work as you will with cultivating strategies to enhance brand reputation and developing a high performing team.

You might be looking for the step up to Marketing Director or you may already be at that level, as long as you have the right drive and energy (coupled with relevant experience), this could be the role for you. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their ability in developing marketing strategies which have had significant commercial impact on the businesses within which you’ve worked. Importantly, you will also need to demonstrate strong team leadership and talent development skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Director:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:

Oversee the ideation and execution of comprehensive strategies aligned with overall objectives which will deliver measurable ROI and enhanced brand experience.
Customer Focused Marketing:

Lead and champion the voice and opinions of customers using data centric insights. Ensure client retention, engagement and development through targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Values Driven Approach:

Ensure company values are present and drive all marketing initiatives. Drive a culture of feedback and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional client experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.
Budget Management:

Responsible for budget tracking and management, ensuring profitability while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Team Leadership and Development:

Provide leadership, ensuring a culture of growth, collaboration and excellence. You will mentor and develop the team to ensure they excel in their roles.

Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive experience in a senior marketing leadership role with a track record of driving strategic growth.
Degree qualified in Marketing or Business-related discipline.
Full mix marketing experience to include digital marketing, brand management and event management.
Strong leadership experience to include coaching, mentoring, and developing high performing teams.
Proficiency in using and extracting data to drive informed strategic decision. Up to date knowledge of technology to help drive marketing practices.
It is preferred that the candidate has financial sector experience or at least can demonstrate an understanding of operating in a regulated industry.
