Job Description - Marketing Executive

Marketing Executive
Location: Edinburgh
Full-Time
Salary: Flexible Depending on Experience

Are you a driven and creative marketing professional looking for your next challenge? Our client – a leading name in their industry – is seeking a talented Marketing Executive to join their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key marketing activities and help shape both B2C and B2B campaigns across the UK and EU.
? Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of innovative marketing communications, with a particular focus on email campaigns and strategy.
  • Take full ownership of email campaigns via Force24, including newsletters, customer communications, and nurture programmes.
  • Support event management from concept through to delivery – occasional UK travel will be required for major events.
  • Deliver a wide range of marketing output, from digital content and video to printed materials and event collateral.
  • Ensure a consistent, compelling customer journey across all campaign touchpoints.
  • Maintain clean, accurate customer data within email and CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Executive to develop engaging video content.
  • Keep external product platforms and databases such as Virtual Worlds and TruBlue updated and optimised.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in PR activity and weekly workflow meetings.
  • Produce campaign reporting and data analysis, including post-campaign reviews and performance improvement proposals.
  • Contribute to monthly marketing board reports.
? About You:Experience Required:
  • 3+ years in a similar marketing role
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, especially email communications
  • Strong copywriting skills and excellent communication
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong data handling and campaign analysis experience
  • Results-focused with creative flair and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable success in achieving campaign goals and improving customer retention
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Desirable:
  • Confident, creative, and proactive mindset
  • Experience in the builders’ merchant or KBB (kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms) sectors
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of market trends
