We're looking for an ambitious, curious and results-driven Marketing Manager. The role will be a key partner to the Senior Manager, Marketing and support on all marketing activities globally for the segment, including developing comprehensive business and comms plans, and building scalable account-based marketing programs, ranging 1-1 and 1-few – across channels. You’ll be comfortable with equal parts execution and strategy, as we’re a lean team in Strategics; a large part of the role is being able to effectively prioritise and delegate (as well as incentivise) across the appropriate functions.
You’re the glue between regional sales and marketing teams, the broader marketing function, and the Strategics team. You’re interested in understanding the hospitality world at a deeper level and have a history of being able to digest commercial strategy to inform focus for the annual marketing roadmap. You don’t want to just manage events; you have a generalist mentality with a few key specialty areas that we can grow the team around.
You must have strong business acumen and operational aptitude, exceptional people and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Mewsers of all levels. You should have a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving, strong quantitative skills, and comfort addressing broad-reaching and ambiguous questions.
This role is very visible in the organisation and will have significant room for growth. Some travel will be required for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with regional teams and commercial leaders, aligning with the needs of their territory and executing global marketing strategies that tie to the Enterprise team's targets
Become an expert in the challenges of strategic accounts nuances from HQ to the regional level -- identifying key relationships to support campaigns and events, and knowing what levers to pull with the resources available
Conduct market research to understand new partnerships, brand news that could impact your campaigns, intel to provide the account teams, and sourcing new thought leadership topics
Work in collaboration with the global Marketing Team to create and execute a lead generation plan that delivers inbound, qualified leads and pipeline growth to hit MQL targets across each brand and the broader Strategics portfolio
Coordinate and execute events from planning to budget management to delivery - ranging from regional major brand moments to T2-3 industry events that focus on large brands, to intimate thought leadership and hospitality offerings
Maintain a consistent brand strategy, messaging and tone throughout all materials and communications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams when creating new and updating existing materials, presentations and/or preparing for events and tradeshows, including translation and transcreation
Communicate with and educate the Strategic Sales Team about new and planned marketing activities for your region -- both Strategics focused and regional events they can take advantage of
Support joint partner marketing activities, ensuring Strategic team leverages the calendar effectively
Ensure performance and ROI are tracked, with data-led tools that effectively measure outcomes; helping to identify new ways to measure Strategic success across channels
Support our flagship events globally (Unfold, regional Tier 1 shows that have a large Strategics brand presence, etc)
REQUIREMENTS
Hospitality (nice to have), tech or B2B experience
5+ years of field, account-based or demand gen marketing experience in a technology or hospitality company, ideally across 2-3 major geographic regions. XDR/Sales experience a huge plus.
Driven by metrics that can demonstrate success and ROI based on budget and company/team KPIs
Excellent written and oral communications skills; language fluency beyond English highly valuable
Strong project management skills
Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce is a plus
A proven problem solver
Expert at time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Openness to work in a high-performing international team with positivity and accountability
