Job Description - Marketing Officer | Hybrid | Dayshift - For Pooling

Zigzag is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team!

  • Understand Creative roles across internal and external provisions, whilst briefing marketing needs and supportingcreative admin assets on a regular basis
  • Understands role and responsibilities, completes 15fives, provide feedback to improve systems or processes, raise employment related issues or concerns, support the recruitment process and retention of staff strategies, actively participate in continuous improvement processes
  • Understands proposal and project close out processes and responsibilities, whilst supporting content creation for pitch docs, blogs, cases studies etc
  • Understands project delivery methodology and Accelo database information, whilst supporting content creation for Struber shares, blogs etc
  • Manages workload and escalates any issues relating to workload, complies with commercial policies i.e. timesheets, expenses, travel
  • Actively participates in internal meetings and discussions, proactively shares articles of interest with the team
Growing the business responsibilities
  • Understands and is able to articulate what services we offer
  • Understands a business sector and the opportunities for Struber. Builds knowledge on sectors in parallel to on-the-ground project experience
  • Shows interest in others, seeks out contacts, able to engage with others
  • Seeks out opportunities to support new business
  • Proactive & responsive to client needs. Seeks out feedback on service delivery.
Strategy
  • Provides strategic recommendations and approaches to inform marketing strategies
  • Entry of implementation tactics to mediums and platforms
  • Support optimisation with insights, recommendations and research
  • Monitor individual KPIs whilst maintaining an understanding of overall team and business KPIs
  • Coordinate expenditure for marketing activities.
Channels and Platforms
  • Support the management of multiple social media profiles with scheduling and profile updates
  • Coordinate email campaign collateral
  • Coordinate website collateral and prepare for import with a basic understanding of web functionality
  • Support the design and implementation of ad campaigns, whilst coming up with new ideas and implementation strategies.
Content Creation
  • Possess understanding of content success factors and have the ability to research new tactics an strategies to guide content
  • Briefs internal team with creative needs with adherence to the style guide and professional standards
  • Use a variety of software to create aesthetically pleasing designs that are optimised for multiple digital platforms
  • Disseminate content according to content strategy and deadlines
  • Coordinate diversification practices and implement changes according to strategy.
Copywriting
  • Posses understanding of copywriting success factors and have the ability to research new tactics and strategies to guide copy writing
  • Brief internal team on writing conventions and best practices with adherence to the brand and language guide to maintain professional standards
  • Develop copy and provide drafts for a range of applications including internal and external channels to competently convey the objectives of copy
  • Edit and proofread copy to a high standard with 3 errors or less
  • Disseminate copy according to content strategy and deadlines
  • Apply search marketing principles to online content to improve search engine ranking.
Analysis and database reporting
  • Provides data updates to the marketing team on self-managed projects
  • Analyse reports to identify what did and didn’t work, and whether time and money can be better spent to provide strategic recommendations on future activities
  • Utilises customer relationship management databases to inform insights for marketing activities and identify areas of opportunity.
Media and External Relations
  • Possess an understanding of our memberships and partners, to provide insights that guide use of inclusions
  • Support the management of community engagement and feedback on as neede
  • Liaises with external organisations on a needs basis to gather information specific to marketing activities
  • Attends networking events and webinars with clear objectives of attendance to uphold the Struber is everywhere mindset.
Marketing and Customer Understanding
  • Monitor industry themes and topics on media listening tools, whilst considering how these industry updates impact the business
  • Monitor research data and trends identified, whilst considering how these industry updates impact the business.
Internal Relations
  • Supports the organisation and facilitation of internal events
  • Prepare presentations and present to internal teams to clearly convey a key message.

Required Skills/Qualifications
 
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2B or professional services
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot and other marketing automation tools
  • Experience working with AI marketing tools (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, AdCreative, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Work alongside Struber executives, employees, and external stakeholders to support campaigns, projects, administrative tasks and business as usual functions.
  • Maintain the directory and structure of folders for marketing materials, ensuring all resources are accurate and archived materials are up to date. Including: case studies, blogs, testimonials, images and more.
  • Coordinate the ongoing management of directories and processes for blogs, case studies, testimonials, awards and more.
  • Manage external event database including events, conferences, and trade shows by coordinating requirements, identifying costs and sponsorship opportunities, establishing perceived value, developing schedules and coordinating event packs.
  • Coordinate employee meetings and communications for the marketing department including event updates, collateral updates, research insights, content requests and more.
  • Conduct research to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data on a request basis
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including intranet, website, Microsoft teams and more.
  • Manage Marketing inbox to ensure communications are set to a priority level and sent to the right Struber representative.
  • Liaison with Struber employee for content requests including follow up and scheduling if required.
  • Use various tools to coordinate and manage various administrative tasks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication among project stakeholders.
  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
