General Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join us for 12 months to cover maternity leave, with the potential to extend to a permanent position.
This role offers flexibility to work from home as well as from our head office in Congleton.
The Marketing Specialist will:
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns in line with the marketing plan.
Support the core business growth objectives and work closely with the sales team to generate sales opportunities and drive an insatiable need for pipeline.
Responsibilities
Devise and present ideas and strategies to drive the business growth initiatives.
Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media.
Manage, support and execute events, such as trade shows, webinars, conferences, user group meetings
Provide creative ideas for content marketing, including writing and proofreading creative copy.
Devise and execute email campaigns using the email automation platform.
Be actively involved in digital marketing efforts (keyword, SEO and Google Ad management) and work closely with the marketing team to execute the digital strategy.
Update databases and use the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Coordinate internal communications and events, adopting the brand tone of voice to communicate the company culture.
Understand our target audience and stay up to date on their business needs, the competitive landscape, partner ecosystems, etc.
Manage time to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the role.
Education / Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in business, marketing or relevant degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, in house or agency.
Working knowledge and experience of campaign management, SEO, email marketing automation, events and social media best practices.
Working knowledge and experience of digital marketing & CRM platforms.
Creative and accurate copywriting skills.
Ability to brief and produce marketing
material/brochures/slide
decks.
Experience developing strong internal and external business relationships across various functions and departments.
Experience in B2B industry segments such as Food, Distribution, Service and Manufacturing is desired but not necessary.
