Location: Aylesbury

Our client is currently seeking a Marketing Strategist to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The Marketing Strategist will take briefs across a varied portfolio, transform client briefs into commercially focused marketing strategies, mapping the buyer journey across brand and performance marketing. Your strategies will guide the creative, activation, and account management teams to deliver against client’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop commercially focused marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.

* Conduct market research and build a deep understanding of clients, their industries, customers, and competitive landscape.

* Define target audiences, customer journeys, ICPs, buyer personas, and messaging frameworks to inform campaigns.

* Create strategic content that supports the activation and delivery of marketing strategies.

* Develop integrated strategies across ABM, Go-to-Market (GTM), Demand Generation, Content, and Creative Campaigns.

* Collaborate with account, creative, and performance teams to ensure seamless strategy development and campaign execution.

Key Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in marketing strategy, ideally agency-side.

* Strong understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM), Go-to-Market (GTM) planning, messaging and positioning, and demand generation.

* Confidence presenting strategies to clients and holding your own in the room.

* Ability to translate a brief into a structured, actionable strategy.

* Clear understanding of the buyer journey and marketing’s role in influencing it.

* Sharp commercial thinking and ability to tie strategies back to revenue.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
