Master Data Developer - Alveo

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alveo/Asset Control professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Alveo products and financial data management, along with expertise in scripting and system administration. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data acquisition, processing and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and optimize Alveo products, including Formula Engine, IECL, Normalization, Consolidation, Price Consolidation, AC Prime, and AC desktop clients.
• Work on Unix/Linux environments, utilizing Git/Bitbucket for version control and Bamboo/JIRA for project management.
• Develop and maintain bash and Perl scripts for automation and system operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance data processes and ensure efficiency in Alveo implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alveo systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in financial data management and Alveo product suite.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Alveo products, including but not limited to Formula Engine, IECL, Normalization, Consolidation and AC Prime.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and experience working with Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo and JIRA.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash and Perl.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience working with Alveo OPS 360.
• Cronacle Scheduler development for job scheduling and automation.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL for application development and data management.
• Experience working with Cucumber for writing test-cases. 
• Knowledge on various Financial Instruments.
• Experience working with PowerShell and Windows Task Scheduler.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Alveo/Asset Control and financial data management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
