An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Master Data Specialist to join a large, well-established organisation headquartered in Manchester. You will be the go-to expert for supplier data, supporting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the central point of contact for supplier data queries
• Maintain and govern supplier master data across multiple systems
• Identify and prevent fraudulent or non-compliant supplier activity
• Ensure data consistency in line with global standards, bank rules and regional classifications
• Conduct regular data quality audits and analysis to support timely supplier payments
• Lead on process improvements and contribute to overall data strategy

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience within a Master Data function, ideally in a shared service environment
• Strong understanding of supplier master data governance and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of risk and fraud controls relating to supplier data
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large data sets
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
