Master Technician / Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Master Technician to join us in the role of Technical Support Technician with Richmond Motor Group Guildford.

As a Technical Support operative you will work with our Service Department in Guildford Surrey. Diagnosing of problematic vehicles and upskilling the site technicians, improving their own diagnostic capabilities. You will have expertise working on cars from a range of manufacturers, be a strong team player, and be professional with good attention to detail. Liaising with our customers is a key role of todays Master Technicians and vital in the Technical support role. You must be an ambassador for the business at all times.

Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards.

Carry out vehicle repairs and communicate issues to the Service Manager and Workshop Managers to conduct additional repair work.

Maintain the workplace in a neat and orderly manner in accordance with business standards, whilst ensuring the safety of all team members.

Utilise manufacturer diagnostic tools to guarantee thoroughness and the highest standard of testing, diagnosis, and repairs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications Needed:

You will be a qualified Master Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to Level 3) with manufacturer experience and hold a valid UK Driver's License. EV level 4 qualification would be beneficial but not essential.

Advanced technical knowledge and expertise.

The ability to work without supervision.

Responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
