About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative organisation delivering secure and sustainable solutions for end-of-life technology equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing copper cabling and precious metal-bearing materials, including circuit board components for both internal use and a sister company.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase electronic materials cost-effectively and on time
• Create and manage purchase orders aligned with project needs
• Track market prices (e.g. LME) and negotiate supplier terms
• Work closely with internal teams to meet delivery and quality goals
• Identify and manage UK-based suppliers; monitor performance
• Ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards (e.g. WEEE, ISO 14001)
• Maintain procurement records and support process improvements

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a procurement role within the e-waste recycling industry.
• Experience sourcing electronic components or cabling (desirable).
• Solid understanding of precious metal-bearing materials and circuit board components.
• Knowledge of environmental permits, WEEE directive, and ISO 14001.
• Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, CRM platforms (ideally HubSpot), and Excel.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
