Keep production supplied by safely moving components, assemblies and work-in-progress (WIP) between production and storage areas. WIP means parts that are still being made or assembled. Deliver the right material to the right place at the right time. No forklift licence is required. This is not a forklift role. Full training will be provided on site-approved equipment.
Main responsibilities
Move material using approved equipment, following agreed routes, schedules and production priorities. Check part numbers, quantities and destinations before moving material. Leave loads safely positioned for the next stage of production. Check material availability and work with production teams to prevent shortages and respond to changing priorities. Report shortages, damaged parts, incorrect or missing identification, blocked routes and equipment problems promptly to the team leader or supervisor. Complete required material movement, inventory and production records accurately. Share outstanding work and issues during shift handovers. Keep work areas and storage locations clean and organised. Suggest practical ways to improve material flow. Communicate clearly with production teams and other departments. Use radios professionally when required.

Day Shift - Mon to Thurs 6:45am - 3pm & Friday 6:45am 12:45pm. Back Shift - Mon to Thurs 2:45pm - 11pm & Friday 10:45am - 4:45pm Night Shift - Mon to Thurs 10:45pm - 7am & Friday 4:30pm - 10:30pm Weekend Days Weekend Nights
Pay Rate
Days - £16.89 ph Back Shift - £22.78 Nights - £24.10 Overtime x1.5 - £28.47 Overtime x2 - £37.96
Safe working
Only use equipment when trained, assessed and authorised. Complete pre-use checks and report faults or damage immediately. Follow site traffic routes, pedestrian separation rules and safe working instructions. Wear the required personal protective equipment. Stay aware of people, vehicles and production activities. Stop and ask for guidance if a task cannot be completed safely. Report hazards, near misses and unsafe conditions immediately.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Essential requirements
Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, logistics or material handling. A safe approach to work and good housekeeping standards in a busy environment. Clear communication and the ability to work well with different teams. Ability to follow instructions, understand priorities and adapt when requirements change. Reliability, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to walk significant distances throughout the shift.
Desirable Experience
Using master movers, pallet trucks or similar equipment; an electric pallet stacker certificate or recent authorised use. Supplying production lines, moving WIP or working to production schedules and just-in-time delivery requirements. Handling steel components and stillages, or using lifting aids, hoists, cranes or magnetic lifting equipment under formal lift plans. Using radios, scanners or production tracking systems and completing production records. Taking part in shift handovers, problem solving or improvements to material flow and workplace organisation Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
