Material Scheduler/Planner

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Material Scheduler/Planner based in Pickering. Responsible for overseeing the stock management and delivery of incoming materials.

Material Scheduler/Planner Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyse sales orders/forecast/customer demand and convert in to vendor orders
• Using AX to understand MRP and NET requirements
• Deal with consignment stock - monthly verification & declarations
• Investigate/Resolve Query invoices
• Maintain accurate lead times and prices on the AX system
• Ensure trade agreements are up to date
• Support with MP&L - KPIs/stock management/stock takes and DOH
• Liaise with all internal and external vendors
• Maintain KPI targets as set by the business within your remit
• Contribute to continuous improvement
• Goods inwards receipt booking and registering stock on AX
• Manage & maintain Goods Inwards delivery calendar
• Ensure all paperwork is filed away in a timely manner
• Raise purchase requisitions
• Convert requisitions to Purchase Orders & email/telephone Vendor

Material Scheduler/Planner Applicants:

• Have strong communicational skills, both written and verbal
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to use own initiative
• Computer literate: Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and AX
• Enthusiasm and pro-active mind set
• Has a can do, self-motivated attitude and is keen and eager to learn
• Supply chain experience or education would be advantageous
• Have a flexible attitude to working time
• Maths and English - GCSE C or above

Salary is £26,000. Working Monday to Thursday 7.50am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.50am until 1.30pm.
