Materials Engineer

Location: Peterborough
Rate: £50.50 FCSA Umbrella (inside IR35) or £37 PAYE
Duration: 12 months (Likely to extend)
 
We are actively looking for a Materials Engineer for a global automotive company based in Peterborough. You will be working in state-of-the-art labs, testing materials related to automotive manufacturing. The team consists of 21 engineers across UK and European sites.
 
Requirements:

Materials Science or Metallurgy degree and/or substantive experience within a materials laboratory environment.
Metallurgical / materials evaluation of new products, processes and/or systems.
Ability to provide technical guidance on product and process maintenance.
Ability to Identify metallurgical / materials manufacturing defects and make process improvement recommendations
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
