## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Act as the Operations point of contact for allocated for demand, including customer forecast and repairs as appropriate\n * Responsible for ensuring that all of the necessary actions required to satisfy demand is completed to cost and schedule. This may includes supporting the provision of stock to meet contractual turn around times whilst optimizing stock levels\n * Liaise closely with the Customer Services Representatives / Commercial and other functions to ensure all customer orders are loaded with the appropriate lead time etc.\n * Take responsibility for identifying and where possible resolving all problems with fulfilling demand to schedule and cost\n * Pro-actively manage schedule dates and drive towards satisfying customer request dates\n * To actively create and manage information that allows demand to be tracked and progressed through Operations\n * Provide input into weekly and monthly reports as required\n * Support improvement strategies within Operations that ultimately support improvements to delivery performance, inventory and reduce costs\n * Liaise closely with Procurement and other warehouses to ensure that Operations are able to deliver to committed due dates\n * Liaise with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure that there is no ambiguity in the Bill of Materials\n * Where appropriate compile strip and survey reports as requested by customers\n * Lead/attend drumbeat reviews to ensure timely progression of all tasks associated with progressing demand through the business\n * Ensure performance development reviews are completed and acted upon\n * Generate and upkeep necessary KPI\u2019s and performance board information\n * Release and control of work orders including management of part requirements and start dates and works order exception messages\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Previous experience as a materials planner within a Engineering company (ideally mechanical/electrical/aerospace)\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Customer orientation \u2013 Intermediate\n * Influence \u0026 Communication \u2013 Intermediate\n * Managing Time \u0026 Priorities \u2013 Advanced\n * Initiative \u0026 Drive \u2013 Advanced\n * Detailed Scheduling \u0026 Planning \u2013 Advanced\n * Supply Chain Logistics - Advanced\n\n\n\nThe successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods and information.
