We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Materials Scheduler. This pivotal role within their Supply Chain team involves ensuring the timely procurement, scheduling, and availability of raw materials and packaging supplies necessary for production. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating across various teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimise waste, and prevent production delays.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage material schedules to meet production demands, ensuring minimal waste and inventory obsolescence.
• Issue purchase orders and work closely with suppliers to guarantee on-time deliveries.
• Continuously review volume requirements against both short-term and long-term customer forecasts.
• Address any supply chain disruptions promptly and work with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure inbound deliveries are timely and complete, taking necessary actions to minimize production shortages.
• Manage all inventory to agreed stock levels and communicate key information to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, and supply chain teams to understand and execute customer requirements effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage and supplier performance.
