About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Maternity Nanny to support a family based in Stoke Newington, London for a 7-week temporary booking starting 11th June. The family are expecting newborn twins and already have an older daughter. Their previously booked maternity nanny is no longer able to fulfil the role due to a broken wrist.

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert newborn care and guidance during the family's early weeks with twins, ensuring their comfort, development, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, sterilise, and administer feeds in line with the family's chosen routine

• Maintain high hygiene standards, including regular nappy changes and cleanliness

• Settle and comfort the babies after feeds and during unsettled periods

• Provide nurturing, attentive care that supports each twins individual development

• Offer practical support and guidance to parents as they adjust to life with newborn twins

Schedule and Salary:

Working Hours:

• 2 x 24-hour shifts per week

• 2 x overnight shifts (9:30pm 9:30am)

Pay:

• £480 per 24-hour shift

• £35 per hour for night shifts

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check (current and fully enhanced)

• Paediatric First Aid certification

• Excellent references from previous families or employers in similar roles

• Demonstrated experience as a maternity nurse or nanny, ideally with newborn twins

• Recognised childcare qualification such as MNT, NEST, BabyEm, HATA, Midwifery or equivalent

• Ability to commute easily to Stoke Newington

£480 per 24 & £35 gph for nights
