A lovely family in Pontblyddyn near Chester, are preparing for the arrival of their second baby at the end of May 2025. With a cheerful and active 3-year-old son already keeping them on their toes, they're now looking for a warm, experienced, and supportive night maternity nurse to help them settle into life as a family of four.

Role Details:

• Start Date: End of May 2025
• Hours: Nights only 9:00pm to 7:00am 3 nights per week Monday , Wednesday and Thursday 
• Duration: Approx 10 weeks with potential to extend beyond this.
• Salary: £23 gross per hour
• Location: Pontblyddyn, near Chester
• Driver: Not required

About the Family:

Mum is due to have a planned caesarean and will need gentle, knowledgeable support during her recovery. She plans to breastfeed and may also express milk for night feeds. Dad is hands-on and supportive, and while occasional help with the 3-year-old may be appreciated, your primary focus will be on the newborn's care and settling them overnight.

They are seeking someone kind, calm, and confident with newborns someone who can offer reassurance and practical guidance to ensure everyone gets the best possible rest and start during this exciting new chapter.

• Confident supporting mums post-caesarean
• Experienced in caring for newborns overnight
• Happy working in a calm, relaxed family environment

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this)
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Relevant maternity nurse qualifications (e.g. MNT, NEST, BabyEm, HATA, Midwifery etc.)
• Previous experience working as a private maternity nurse
• Excellent, checkable references
