Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is seeking an experienced and discreet Night Maternity Nurse to support a first-time mother caring for her 5-week-old baby boy over selected weekend nights during July and August.

The family is seeking a warm and professional maternity nurse who can work confidently and independently within a fully staffed family household. You will be expected to follow the established routine in place with the familys main maternity nurse, and provide gentle, consistent overnight care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sole care of the baby overnight
• Responsive feeding (typically every 34 hours)
• Sterilising bottles and preparing formula top-ups (baby is combination fed)
• Supporting and respectful of an established routine: with 3-hourly feeds and nappy changes
• Maintaining a tidy and well-organised nursery space
• Being discreet and self-contained in a busy, multi-staffed household

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years experience in newborn/maternity care
• Recognised maternity nurse qualification
• Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Excellent, checkable references from previous maternity/nanny roles
• Comfortable travelling to and from the home daily, as there is no daytime accommodation
• Discreet, professional, and respectful of family and household staff

Additional Details:

• This is a night-only role, weekends only, across six selected dates
• A bed will be available for the maternity nurse to rest between feeds
• The home is a peaceful and well-run household with other staff present (housekeeper, cook, gardener)
