About the Role

A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their esteemed mathematics department. You'll inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3-5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.


• Develop students' analytical and problem-solving skills through mathematical inquiry.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead maths-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.


• Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematical inquiry.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
