About the Maths Department:

The Mathematics Department is made up of experienced and motivated educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality lessons that challenge students to think critically and excel in their studies. The department boasts excellent results at both GCSE and A-Level, and it places a strong emphasis on collaborative planning, consistent assessment, and developing numeracy across the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to KS3, KS4, and KS5


• Deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons


• Monitor and support student progress through effective assessment


• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources


• Take part in the wider school community and extracurricular activities

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject


• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Mathematics


• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Mathematics 


• ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported
